About ACS Analysis There are many tests that can be performed on geomembrane, geotextile, geosynthetic clay liner and geocomposite materials to determine a host of different physical, mechanical and chemical properties. Here at ACS Analysis we have concentrated on the more frequently required tests, and with our modern, purpose built test machines we can carry out a variety of strength related tests, including tensile and puncture testing in accordance with European and 
American standards. Thickness testing, density determination, mass/unit area determination and carbon black content and dispersion are also carried out in our geosynthetics laboratory. We are, therefore, able to offer comprehensive suites of conformance tests, for which we are accredited by UKAS.
In the construction of certain land fill waste disposal facilities there are a number of tests that have to be carried out to ensure that the lining matrices conform to the Environment Agency criteria. ACS Analysis specialises in permeability testing of clay soils and bentonite/cement enriched materials, with an extensive suite of triaxial cells. We conduct permeability testing on undisturbed samples or samples recompacted to client’s specific requirements of density and moisture content. Laboratory trials on a range of compaction criteria give invaluable information at the design, supply and installation stages of a contract. We are accredited by UKAS for permeability and associated testing.
